Ballard Neighborhood Doctors has been offering unique relationship-based family medicine since 2007. Drs. Bell and Weakland have fused traditional Western and naturopathic care to offer the highest quality medical care, individualized to your needs. We work respectfully together to become a place you trust--a true medical home.

We provide the same high quality of care to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. We accept private and state insurance and Medicare, and have a sliding scale for those who don't have insurance.

Our practice is based on a low overhead model that allows for longer visits with patients and more personalized care. By keeping staffing costs low we have more time for you. This means that typically in the office you only see Drs. Bell and Weakland. We have part-time staff who help us with all of the many insurance issues, patient logistics and our medical billing.

You can reach us during our business hours via phone or portal.

For current patients in need of after hours help, please call the regular office phone for information on how to contact the physician on call.

Flu Season

September 28, 2020

We encourage vaccination.

We have nasal vaccine for ages 2 years and above. We have shot vaccine for 6 months and older.

Please send a portal message with a Tuesday or Thursday date that works for you. We will put you on a list for that day starting at 3pm.

Unfortunately this year we are not able to provide adult flu vaccines.

Adults can go to the pharmacy for their vaccines. They have the same vaccines as physician clinics and can bill your insurance.

Covid testing

September 28, 2020

You have two choices.
You can go to a drive through test center as they typically have a turn around time of 24 hours.
Or you can schedule to have it done at our clinic. Typical turn around with our lab has been 5-7 days. You'd schedule per normal on our appointment tab to talk with one of the doctors in our "sick room." You'll find this option in our scheduling system of your portal.
